The dealer places one card face-up in the centre of the table. This is the Joker card — the card you need to match. It could be any card from a standard deck, from Ace through King.
Before the deal begins, place your bet on either Andar (inside, left side of the table) or Bahar (outside, right side). That's your only decision — which side will get the matching card first?
The dealer draws one card to Andar, one to Bahar, back to Andar, and so on. This continues until a card matching the same rank as the Joker card appears on either side. If the Joker is a King, the first King dealt wins.
